Throughout the year, we have been preparing a comprehensive digital archive mapping the history of Divadlo Continuo from its beginnings in 1993 to the present day. A selection of Continuo’s productions and projects is available in the archive section. The complete archive mapping the entire history of Continuo Theatre will be made available to interested parties upon individual request.
The archive is bursting at the seams—we have more than 38,000 items in it!
What can you find in it?
– A complete photo gallery of all Continuo Theatre performances and site-specific projects – photos from performances, as well as from preparations and behind the scenes
– trailers and excerpts from some productions and projects
– reviews, articles, and interviews with theatre members
– photo documentation of the theatre’s educational activities
The project Digitalization of the Continuo Theater Archive (r. n. 0443000065) was funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the National Recovery Plan and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic as part of the program for the Development of Digitalization, Documentation, and Information Activities in the Field of Visual Arts and Architecture II.
We would also like to thank the National Institute for Culture (NIK) and current and former collaborators of the Continuo Theatre for their cooperation in searching through their archival materials and thus completing the large archive of the Continuo Theatre.
