The main theme of the year will be ‘story in time, story and time, story and temporality’. We will explore and stage themes such as: the great historical events in České Budějovice and the South Bohemian region (with a focus on the history of the 20th and 21st centuries), the relationship between today and history, the way in which history coexists with the present and potentially the future in the space of the human mind and culture, in futurology and various forms of historical and contemporary utopias. Story as a tool for collective and personal therapy addressing trauma, which is also mirrored in stories, will also be a theme.

As in previous years, the project will be carried out by an international team of artists and members of local communities.
